But this week, as part of bringing Google+ (and Profiles) to Google Apps, Google is turning off sharing in Google Reader. #
It’s something of a milestone, because as Shreeharsh Kelkar points out, users tend to find uses for products that designers didn’t anticipate. Reader streams in particular got shared via WordPress widgets, Friendfeed, and a host of other RSS-friendly applications. Those streams have now gone quiet, and presumably the “your shared stuff” pages will disappear at some point. #
